Terms and Conditions:
These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding contract between you and AtoZ
Safe Warehouse Ltd. All products are subject to availability. By accepting these
terms and conditions you are agreeing to terms of our privacy policy. These Terms
and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Every quotation, pro-forma invoice, price list or other similar document made or
issued by A to Z Warehouse Ltd ("the company") is made or issued subject to these
General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These terms and conditions do not affect consumers'
statutory rights as contained in current legislation governing the relationship
between consumers and businesses.
Definitions
The Company means A to Z Warehouse Ltd. The Customer or you, means the account applicant
or person who buys or agrees to buy goods from the company.
Acceptance of Orders
No order resulting from any quotation, pro-forma invoice, price list or other similar
document made or issued by the company shall be binding unless and until it is accepted
by the company. The company at its absolute discretion may accept or reject any
order whether on account of the equipment being no longer available or for any other
reason whatsoever.
Product Specifications
The company warrants that the goods will be at the time of delivery correspond to
the description given by the company. It is the responsibility of the customer to
check the compatibility and suitability of goods for any particular purpose before
ordering. The company hereby reserves the right to make without notice such minor
modifications in specifications, designs or materials as it may deem necessary or
desirable by experience.
Delivery
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time
of delivery shall not be of the essence and the company shall not be liable for
any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person
or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated
delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer
upon delivery of such goods to the customer.
Damages and Shortages
The customer shall report any damage or shortage to the company and the carriers
in writing within 5 days of delivery. Provided prompt notice of transit damage or
loss is given the company will repair such equipment free of charge to the customer.
Minor abrasions to the safe are to be expected if installation is carried out and
this is not considered as damage.
Payment
Payment should be made on delivery unless a credit account is held with us. Payment
terms for credit account are strictly 30 days from invoice. The company withholds
the right to withdraw credit facilities at any time.
Ownership and Risk
The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery
of such goods to the customer. However, notwithstanding delivery and the passing
of risk in the goods, title and property in the goods, including full legal and
beneficial ownership, shall not pass to the customer until the company has received
in cash or cleared funds, payment in full for all goods delivered to the customer
under this and all other contracts between the company and the customer for which
payment of the full price of the goods there under has not been paid. Payment of
the full price of the goods shall include the amount of any interest or other sum
payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between the company and
the customer under which the goods were delivered.
Warranty
All safes are guaranteed for one year on all working parts subject to servicing
by an A to Z Warehouse engineer or any of our recommended locksmiths; other service
agreements can be negotiated by contacting us. Repairs should be arranged and will
be carried out during the hours of nine to five, Monday to Friday only.
Product Misuse
Should any equipment malfunction as a result of misuse or tampering (including without
prejudice attempted repairs by a non A to Z Warehouse engineer, attempts to move
the safe and all types of excessive pressure applied to the lock mechanism or handle)
then all costs incurred by the company in repairing such equipment and investigating
the causes of the malfunction shall be payable to the company.
Liability
Under no circumstances shall the company be responsible for any indirect, incidental
or consequential damages.
Hire of Safes
The safe will be delivered and collected on a mutually convenient pre-arranged week
day during normal working hours. We reserve the right to revise collection dates
and will inform you of any changes at least twenty fours hours before the agreed
collection date. The weekly rate will be agreed in advance and will appear on our
quotation. Payment will be taken upon delivery of the unit and will include the
fee for delivery and collection. Any variation of the original agreed hire period
will result in a revised bill with all charges being rounded up to the end of nearest
week to the new collection date. All additional charges will be immediately invoiced
and must be paid before the hire period expires. Any refunds will be made to yourselves
after collection of the unit. Requests for and altered collection date must be made
in writing and be received by us seven days in advance of the proposed collection
date. A deposit will be required which will be refunded on return of the unit in
full working order, open with all keys supplied and/or the combination number. The
deposit amount will be given in the quotation. Floor anchoring of the safe can be
undertaken provided there are no pipes or electric cables at the desired location.
This must be requested at the time of the order. Installations to upper floors or
via stairs must be notified in advance and confirmed in our quotation otherwise
we will only deliver to the ground floor. Your insurance broker may have a different
insurance rating from us for the safe you hire and therefore you should check you
are covered for the amount intended.
Site Surveys
All method statements, risk assessments and lifting certificates/tests, must be requested in writing 72 hours before the intended works.
General Information
All reconditioned safes are refurbished to the BS-7582 standard and re-sprayed.

Safes of grade 1, 2 and 3 come with a key lock as standard. Manual combinations
and digital locks are available on request and are fitted for an additional charge.
It is recommended and is often an insurance requirement that all safes under 1000
kg are anchored to the floor. This requires drilling into the floor and therefore
customers must be aware of the proximity of pipes, wires or under-floor heating
at the safe location. All fixing is undertaken at the customers’ risk.
Fixing of safes and floor loadings
Fixing of safes involves drilling into floor. The customer will be responsible for any consequential damage that may occur if we drill into any services.
The customer shall be responsible for ensuring that the floor that the safe is positioned on, or is transported over, is structurally adequate to support the weight of the safe.
Parking tickets and congestion charging
If the customer insists on a delivery on a day when no other deliveries are being made within the London Congestion Charge zone then A to Z Warehouse ltd reserves
the right to pass this charge on to the customer.
If the customer cannot guarantee parking and there are parking restrictions at the delivery site that A to Z Safe Warehouse have not been informed of prior to delivery, then A to Z Safe Warehouse ltd reserves the right to pass on any fines or charges to the customer.
Waiting time
Waiting time is charged after 30 minutes of waiting if the cause of the delay in the commencement of works is no fault of A to Z Safe Warehouse. Rates of waiting time will depend on the time of day, i.e. whether over time charges are applicable, which lorry is being used and the number of staff involved. If a job is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (standard office working hours) or cannot be completed for no fault of A to Z Safe Warehouse ltd, A to Z Safe Warehouse reserve the right to charge for the cancelled works up to 100% of their value.
