Simply locking documents in a steel filing cabinet or storing them in a safe affords minimal protection against the very dangerous hazard of fire. The solution lies in the purpose designed series of document protection cabinets manufactured by Chubb.
TESTED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS
Available in four sizes, each cabinet has gained the coveted VDMA S120P and UL fire test label which affords 2 hours protection against fire for documents and paper.
• Monolithic construction of fire resisting barrier material affords maximum protection.
• Internal temperatures limited to 170°C after two hours of exposure to severe fire
• A reinforced plinth provides maximum energy absorption if the floor of a building collapses when on fire.
• As part of the VDMA S120P and UL test, a red hot cabinet is dropped 9.1 metres on to rubble and reheated to ensure the cabinet will still provide protection in the event of floor collapse.
