Model description for Chubb Leamington MK 2:

LEAMINGTON MARK 2

With over 800 commercial premises and 1000 homes burgled in the UK every 24 hours, the need to secure valuables conveniently and effectively is of major importance. Many of the safes used in commercial environments today were manufactured before the development of modern cutting tools and techniques. They may look imposing but can often be opened by today's burglars in just a few minutes. Chubb Safe Equipment Company offer the effective solution to the storage of cash and valuables, with their comprehensive range of safes available in a variety of security levels.

CONSTRUCTION

  • The body is 84mm thick and constructed from inner and outer steel sheet enclosing a jointless Chubb barrier material.
  • The door is also constructed from steel sheet encompassing the same Chubb barrier material to provide a high level of protection to the locking mechanism, as well as to the contents of the safe.
  • The fully formed door also features an integral rear retaining bar running the full height of the rear edge of the door. This fixed bolt is reinforced by a series of 5mm thick steel supports to further strengthen the door against attack.
  • The boltwork consists of 32mm diameter bolts which extend from 3 sides of the door.

EXPLOSIVES PROTECTION
The Leamington Mark 2 is fitted with a live anti-explosive relocking device which secures the bolts in the event of such an attack.

LOCKING
With 1 or 2 locks. Either or both of these can be keylocks or combination locks.

FITTINGS
The internal racking accepts the following optional fittings:

  • Heavy duty shelves
  • Lockable drawers
  • Lockable cupboards
  • Deposit traps for wallets and capsules are available

BASE FIXING
The Leamington Mark 2 is prepared for base fixing to a wood or concrete floor.

Finish
The safes are finished in a warm grey textured finish to suit any working environment. The lever handle, trimplate and keyhole cover are a warm brown.
