DEPOSITS MADE IN COMPLETE SECURITY

FICHET has developed a Rotary deposit system (R.D.S.) which allows valuables to be placed in a safe, in complete security, without opening it.

The R.D.S. consists of a rotating security drum which forms an integral part of the safe: it acts as a deposit trap which allows valuables to be introduced into the protected volume.

SECURITY FOR STAFF AND PROPERTY

Two keyholders are needed to open the safe. This is clearly indicated on the safe door to discourage any attempt at forced opening under duress.

The R.D.S. is completely protected by defensive barriers. Severe testing in the CNPP laboratories has confirmed the integrity and strength of the R.D.S. when used with safes in the FICHET range. The A2p safe approval class is unchanged by the addition of the R.D.S.

Particular care was taken in designing the inte­gration of the R.D.S., which is mounted from inside the safe. An original "anti-fish" device allows deposited items to pass in one direction only and prevents any risk of envelopes becoming jammed.

The system can be used through a wall, which allows the "DEPOSIT" zone to be completely separated from the "SAFE DOOR OPENING ZONE".

The use of the R.D.S. drum can be controlled by a M2b lock on the front panel.

The safe is base fixed to a concrete slab by a central anchor point. As an option, SILVER, GOLD and CARAT safes can be anchored at 4 points, if requested.
