Outer and inner bodies constructed from high grade steel enclosing extra hard anti torch conglomerate with the additional protection of spiral metallic reinforcement interlocking and welded to the inner body lining giving additional impact and delamination resistance. A further layer of drill resisting manganese steel covers the whole area of the body giving a total protective thickness of 95 mm (3 3/4").
The total thickness of the door is 155 mm (6 1/8") with the same specification as the body giving overall total protective thickness of 95 mm (3 3/4").
Heavy cylindrical steel bolts engage into recessed cups in the body of the safe on the leading top and bottom edges of the door, together with a continuous fixed bolt on the hinge side ensuring a continuity of strength. The two top and two bottom bolts considered essential against many forms of attack are supplemented by two to five bolts on the leading edge of the door, depending on the safe side.
Both live and dead relocking devices are spread throughout the boltwork to ensure that the door cannot be opened even if the main locks are destroyed or damaged by any method of attack.
Standard locking on all sizes is the unique eight lever Fichet-Bauche Monopole Keylock and the Fichet-Bauche Monocommande combination lock capable of 63 million combinations.
