ISM Treasury MK 3 TR7238

Description

ISM Treasury Mk 2 Safes

The Treasury Mk 2 is the result of an intense research and development effect aimed to produce a high security safe that would withstand all forms of attack by the professional criminal using the most sophisticated burglary tools. The Treasury Mk 2 offers features in physical construction, use of materials, and mechanism design that together form a unique defense barrier in which each component enhances ISM’s concept of total security.

DOOR
The overall thickness of the Treasury Mk 2 door is 190 mm (7.5″). It is constructed of outer and inner 10 mm (0.4″) thick steel plates continuously electrically welded together, enclosing a 70 mm (2.75″) thick casting of C.N.A. ISM’s superior torch and drill resistant material. The C.N.A. was developed by ISM to specifically withstand all forms of attack by force, drills and oxy-acetylene cutters. It consists of a tough thermal resistant cast alloy within which a consistently staggered drill resistant alloy multi-grid is incorporated covering the whole area of the door.

Body
The ISM Treasury Mk 2 body features a one piece bell-casting of C.N.A. ISM’s torch and drill resistant material with a minimum thickness of 50 mm (2″) to a maximum boltwork protective area of 75 mm (3″). The unique one piece bell-casting ensures that the C.N.A. cannot be delaminated and increases the resistance of the ISM Treasury Mk 2 to attack by thermic tools or explosives. An additional outer body torch and drill resistant monolith 55 mm (2.2″) thick fills and encases multiple steel reinforcing cylinders, providing superior burglary as well as fire protection. The body is encased in continuously electrically welded steel plates, making up an entire body thickness of 120 mm (4.75″).

Locks
The Treasury Mk 2 is equipped with a U.L. MP Group 1 maximum security combination lock. A second nine lever double-bit key lock is provided in conjunction with the combination lock. When the door of the safe is closed, it is impossible to remove the key without securing the bolts in the locking position, thus ensuring that even if the combination lock is not engaged, the safe is secure. As an optional extra all models (except the 2316) are prepared to accept a three movement 144 hour timelock that locks the safe independent of any other lock. This prevents holdups after hours.

Relocking Mechanism
All locks including the timelock, if incorporated, vital mechanism areas, and the relocking devices themselves are protected by tempered glass plates. These plates, if attacked by tools, torches or explosives, will shatter into pieces, thus activating the relocking mechanisms. Part of the relockers are located at random and all have cross locking pins which will not allow the relockers to be withdrawn once activated.

Boltwork and Locking Mechanism
The boltwork and locking mechanism was designed to give maximum protection against not only explosive attack, but from concentrated tool attacks from all directions. Turning the capstan wheel operates a gear driven slide mechanism which engages each bolt into the C.N.A. bolt chamber. These massive slides move perpendicular to the bolts and provide a positive defense barrier against bolt attack. Each bolt slides through a thick solid steel block encasement. These blocks prevent the bolts from any lateral movement due to explosive or tool attack. Upon entry into the bolt chamber, each bolt is independently cross locked in the solid steel block by massive steel bars.

Interior Fittings
Adjustable/removable shelves are available for setting up the safe interior to accept jewelry trays, cash trays, rolled coins, and other valuables. In each ISM Treasury Mk 2 is an inner vault activated by a single key lock.

Finish
A modern anodized aluminum capstan wheel and facia panel compliment the durable paint finish, standard on all ISM Security Equipment.
