Leabank Royal R704

Description

Leabank Royal R704

Society is becoming more and more security conscious, but whilst the effects of burglary can be upsetting and costly most people are covered by insurance. Similarly, most of us have fire insurance but the effects of a fire can be much more devastating than theft. 43% of all Companies go into liquidation within six months of a fire destroying their vital documents.

The loss of your purchase ledger can be inconvenient but creditors will soon advise you of your indebtedness –the loss of your sales ledger can be disastrous.

With the loss of a stamp or coin collection, an insurance payment cannot replace the sentimental value of a lifetimes work put into the collection.

The Royal R-10A, R-12A and R-5A Homesafes are the perfect answer for the small office and domestic use. The ten Firesafes from the R-20A to the R70-203 are ideal for protecting legal documents, deeds, accounts ledgers, computer printout etc., against fire and theft. Royal Firesafes are tested to high International Standards in several countries. All Royal Firesafes have a fully welded, double wall carcase filled with fire resistant, non-toxic, asbestos-free, Portland cement based bubble concrete. In manufacture, the liquid concrete is poured in and during drying it rises until all of the space between the walls of the carcase is filled to form a solid, one-piece core ensuring all round protection.

The doors are of similar construction and have a contoured edge which interlocks with the carcase providing extra fire

resistance between the door and body. The doors have fixed bolts on the hinge side. The smaller models have horizontal sliding bolts and the larger models from the R-25A upwards also have bolts top and bottom. This arrangement gives added security as the hinges do not form part of the locking mechanism.

All Royal Firesafes are operated by a precision cylinder lock coupled with a smooth and efficient combination lock which has over one million variations. The combinations of the small Firesafes cannot be altered except by exchanging the whole combination. From the R-25A upwards the combinations can be altered. On the larger models from the R-20A the doors have an automatic panic catch so that they can be quickly closed in an emergency and the contents are protected from fire damage.

All Royal Firesafes have been drop tested from 4 metres during the fire tests.

The Firesafes are finished in a neat attractive hammer finish in two-tone brown.
